Pawn and Iron Traitor Giveaway

November 9, 2013 at 4:38 PMKatie McGarry

Hi everyone!

Exciting news! On Friday, December 6th at Carmichael's Bookstore (Frankfort Ave. location) in Louisville, KY at 7:00 pm, I have the honor of speaking on a panel and signing with Aimee Carter, Julie Kagawa, and Colette Ballard.

A few weeks ago, I did a giveaway in honor of Colette. This week, I am giving away signed copies of Aimee Carter's Pawn (release date is November 26th) and Julie Kagawa's The Iron Traitor (released on October 29th). Both Aimee and Julie are super talented authors and I can't wait to see them on December 6th!

I hope you love their books as much as I do!

Click here for more details on the signing!

For Kitty Doe, it seems like an easy choice. She can either spend her life as a III in misery, looked down upon by the higher ranks and forced to leave the people she loves, or she can become a VII and join the most powerful family in the country.

If she says yes, Kitty will be Masked—surgically transformed into Lila Hart, the Prime Minister's niece, who died under mysterious circumstances. As a member of the Hart family, she will be famous. She will be adored. And for the first time, she will matter.

There's only one catch. She must also stop the rebellion that Lila secretly fostered, the same one that got her killed…and one Kitty believes in. Faced with threats, conspiracies and a life that's not her own, she must decide which path to choose—and learn how to become more than a pawn in a twisted game she's only beginning to understand.

After his unexpected journey into the lands of the fey, Ethan Chase just wants to get back to normal. Well, as "normal" as you can be when you see faeries every day of your life. Suddenly the former loner with the bad reputation has someone to try for-his girlfriend, Kenzie. Never mind that he's forbidden to see her again.

But when your name is Ethan Chase and your sister is one of the most powerful faeries in the Nevernever, "normal" simply isn't to be. For Ethan's nephew, Keirran, is missing, and may be on the verge of doing something unthinkable in the name of saving his own love. Something that will fracture the human and faery worlds forever, and give rise to the dangerous fey known as the Forgotten. As Ethan's and Keirran's fates entwine and Keirran slips further into darkness, Ethan's next choice may decide the fate of them all.

Contemporary is my favorite, but fantasy is a close second Smile

Canada Evthoxia Roussakis says:

My favorite genre between the three mentioned above would have to be...all three combined!

So Colette's book won't be out before the signing?

I already own Iron Traitor but very excited about Pawn.

I'm so excited for this, Thank you for the Giveaway!

Fantasy is definitely my favorite genre!

I love all types of genes i cannot really stick to one. I have read an e-arc of Pawn and absolutely adored it, so i really want a psychical copy and a singed one at that would be amazing

I Am definitely a huge fan of contemporary!

I love fantasy! Always have. But dystopian has quickly climbed the ranks.

My favorite genre is definitely fantasy. Laughing

I have not read anything by either of these authors!!  I always see Aimee's picture pop up on twitter-- she is adorable.  I've heard amazing things about Julie from a book club friend!!  Must get to both soon!

United States Amanda Vasquez says:

Im partial to contemporary

Definitely fantasy!!! I've read many good dystopian as well...contemporary's a close one too! I change my mind...all three of them! Too hard to choose just one!

I have read all of the iron fey books and just love them tons...I am so excited for this giveaway and for the book to come out.

I love dystopian!

Dystopian I think but Fantasy is a close second!

Out of those three, fantasy. It's just so enjoyable to delve into other worlds.

United States Ariana Perdomo says:

Right now Dystopian is super awesome (=

I love all these authors! Smile

I love both contemporary and fantasy

I don't really have a favorite genre, it just depends on what my mood is for.

Hard choice!! I like all three genre's but I would probably choose fantasy closely followed by contemporary!

All of them! Thanks for the giveaway.

I love fantasy and contemporary. I do like dystopian but can't love it (it has too many deaths).

United States Morgan Faufaw says:

My favorite is Fantasy then Dystopian!

I don't think I could choose between Contemporary, Dystopian, or Fantasy. I guess if I really, really had to choose it would have to be Dystopian only because I like how adventurous those type of stories turn out. But if I didn't  have to choose I would say I like them all. They all have their own special properties Laughing

Fantasy is a definite fave. I read books to take a break from reality, and nothing does that better than another realm. Besides, a fantasy can still have contemporary and dystopian elements and then you get to have your cake, frosting, and eat it, too!

My favorite genre would have to be contemporary, I absolutely love the romance! Thanks for the giveaway <3

United States Christina R. says:

Contemporary and paranormal because you get real emotional characters in one and awesome worlds in the otherSmile

Thank youSmile

My fav genre is dystopian.

United States Mary Beth Provence says:

I like contemporary, but dystopian is a close second.

I like a mixture of all three genres but mostly fantasy and contemporary

Loving these books and authors!!

P.S > Love both genres, they each have their own value.

United States Cynthia Reyes says:

Definitely fantasy follow by dystopian and then contemporary.

I read just about anything but Contemporary has to be my favorite though ;)

United States Lucille Palma says:

They're all my favorites...but if I have to pick, I'd say dystopia because there is always something new in each series! They're all unique Smile

Its between Dystopian and Fantasy. Glad we have both in the world!!!

dystopian but I love all 3!!!

Contemporary and fantasy are two of my favorite genres!!!

Fantasy is such a wonderful genre because sometimes it blends all kinds of other genres together.
